About
To be frank. I don’t know what will become of this site. It was available on my expired domains list and I liked it, so here we are. As for the blogging, It all started about a year ago. A good friend (who shall remain nameless) told me that I was a great writer. Personally, I don’t think I am - in fact, every time I do write something, I think to myself, “Who wants to read this crap?!” - then I quickly do a CTRL-A + Delete. Honestly, my writing isn’t that spectacular and if it weren’t for this nameless friend (and my wacky Floridian sister who shares her opinion) I’d likely be sitting in front of the T.V. right now, blissfully watching some random crime drama (a personal favorite).
So, a little about me. I was born and raised in Texas, where my family still lives and I do not. I met and married my husband, a U.S. Marine, in 2000 and relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina. After two years of being a Marine Wife, we decided to give the civilian world a try and we moved to the Urban Jungle of Chicago, where we stayed for four years. After four years of snow measuring in feet and never ending toll roads, we decided to pack up and move to Phoenix, where we currently live. We’ve been here almost three years and the itch to pack up the wagon and head for the horizon is starting to drive me crazy.
I’m a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend and a Web Development Project Manager (not in that order usually, although I strive).
As for the blog - I figure I’ll just write my own personal spin on life, liberty and the pursuit of overpriced coffee drinks from Starbucks. Seriously, my life isn’t that exciting. My twisted sense of humor keeps me laughing - and I generally like to share the funny stuff with friends and family…so here we are.
It’s nothing special, just something to do when I feel like I want to do something. I mean, really, I can’t wear the cape and body suit ALL the time…
