Welcome To The Blog, Dad!
YaY!
Dad found the blog. Well, he didn’t really find it as much as he followed the link I sent him in an email. Of course, I had to bribe him with a promise of pictures - but hey! At least he’s here, right?
Today, we did some running around. As everyone is aware, I’m sure, Circuit City is shutting down a number of their stores and John wanted to go check out the goods and see what they had. Turns out, they didn’t have a lot, but we did end up getting a couple of things that we got a really good deal on. Like MicroSD Memory for my phone, half price, a few games, also half price and some HDMI cables, 75% off.
While we were out, I also wanted to check out the new HP Mini 1000 Netbook - I’d love to have one and I wanted to see if about taking one for a test drive. I wanted to see how it rendered pages while surfing, since the screen is so small. Turns out, the only place I was able to actually find one on display was a place that, for whatever stinkin reason, didn’t have WiFi. I didn’t even know places like that existed anymore. Turns out, they do and in the end, I didn’t get to give the Mini a test drive. A real bummer, because I’m really itchin to try one out.
None of that really matters, because my dad found the blog! I’m so happy!
Follow Up From Friday’s Post, Plus a Goodie!
Again with the blogging before I think of a title for the post - but what can you do? I haven’t posted since Friday and I wanted to update on things related to my skin as well a few other things - like the new little scrabble brick pendant I got from this neat little Etsy Store called HomeStudio.
So, as I promised I would, I tried the whole Avasaire Trio regimen over the weekend and wow, I can’t say enough about this product. I know, I know - I sound like a lame-o Infomercial host, but seriously, this stuff is pretty amazing. My skin has always been pretty picky about the products I use. If I use something that is to chemically, then I get super-hyper-dry and break out like a 14 year old boy. If I use something that doesn’t have enough of a ‘cleaner’ in it (read, something to 86 the oil…the Alaskan Arctic Refuge has nothing on my face when it comes to oil deposits!) then my face starts to feel sludgy (is that a word? I’m going to say yes, because Safari says yes). It’s crazy - I am either WAY to dry or WAY to oily - but ya know, the Avasaire really seems to make my skin feel normal, not something I’m used to, but something I really like.
At any rate. Get it. Seriously. Go now, I can wait.
Now, on to the pendant. Heh. I don’t normally do the impulse buy thing, but last week, a good friend shared a link with me via Twitter and when I saw them, I knew I had to have…4. They’re real cute. Little scrabble letter tiles with a cute little funky piece of artwork on one side. Very fun. You should get one of those too. In fact, you know what? You should get them for all your friends and family - and if I am part of your friends and family, you should totally get me this one.
So, there you have it - the couple of things I wanted to talk about. So, off you go…
(Note the new categories - maybe I’ll make a habit of this!)
