If You Could Have…
If you could have one spigot in your home that dispensed any liquid suitable for human consumption, what would it dispense?
Some clarification:
- The liquid must be suitable for human consumption. (Read: you must be able to drink it.)
- This would be an addition of one spigot in your home, anywhere you’d like. The rest would still dispense water.
- It can’t be something that you’d bottle and offer for sale, it must be for private, in home use only. (You can share with your friends, but not sell it.)
- Something other than water.
I got an email with this very question last night, so I asked John, “What would your spigot dispense?”
He thought about it for a long time and had a hard time making the decision. He drinks three things, fairly regularly, water, milk and Mountain Dew. In the end, he did pick milk and that’s what I thought he’d pick.
Then he asked me.
I looked at him and immediately said, “Tropicana No Pulp Orange Juice at 34 degrees” (yes, I realize I’d make a perfectly good diva) to which he responded, “Yeah, I figured, it was that or coffee”.
So, given the above ground rules, what would your spigot dispense?

We’re Off To Celebrate Turkey Day =)
First, a couple of things. The office manager at work went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I had a Red Velvet Cake for my birthday this year at work. Now, if that ain’t awesome, I don’t know what is. It made me a little weepy and emotional - it was very sweet.
Dawn, over at This Woman’s Work, has put a call out for help - go there, help. What are you waiting for?
FireMom, over at Stop Drop & Blog, has been recruited by HP as one of the worlds top 50 Bloggers to have a contest this holiday season that will reward the contest winner with six grand in HP Gear. Check out her blog for more info and enter.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
- I’m listening to Blue Oyster Cults “Don’t Fear The Reaper” or, as some call it, The More Cowbell Song.
- I have yet to find a FM Transmitter that will work with my iPod Nano Gen 4. This is especially disappointing, considering my intent to use it on this trip
- I know, no matter how hard I try, I will have forgotten something I will need on this trip. I might as well admit that now.
- I am painfully unprepared to leave right now, I don’t anticipate that being different three hours from now.
- I was carded this morning. The guy seemed really apologetic for having to ask, but being almost 35 and being carded to buy a product which requires you to be 18 is not something that requires apology, trust me.
- I went to buy a car charger for my phone yesterday and they had this package deal, with Bluetooth headset, car charger and case, for $39.00, but the charger didn’t work for my phone, so I ended up paying $39.00 for just a charger. Same brand. Different connector. I am pretty sure I got the shaft.
- I had a crazy dream about driving a black BMW last night - it involved me running from a cop that looked like the guy who played Hellboy Ron Perlman, except he was wearing a strikingly stunning pale yellow dress shirt with a darker yellow tie, like the guy cop that killed himself in CSI Miami.
- No matter what time we go to bed, Jerrett is awake and ready to start the day at or before 5 AM. Even on Saturdays.
- I will be updating Twitter and Twitpics via Text today, as we roam. Thinkin I might see some interesting stuff in the desert.
- Now listening to The Steve Miller Band - Jet Airliner
- The fact that I have a headache this early in the morning isn’t a good sign of things to come
- I have two Ivy houseplants, one is doing really well, the other has one foot (root?) in the grave.
- The streetlight outside of my house goes off and on all night long and it drives me crazy
- I am not looking forward to the IEP meeting I have to go to next week
Follow Up From Friday’s Post, Plus a Goodie!
Again with the blogging before I think of a title for the post - but what can you do? I haven’t posted since Friday and I wanted to update on things related to my skin as well a few other things - like the new little scrabble brick pendant I got from this neat little Etsy Store called HomeStudio.
So, as I promised I would, I tried the whole Avasaire Trio regimen over the weekend and wow, I can’t say enough about this product. I know, I know - I sound like a lame-o Infomercial host, but seriously, this stuff is pretty amazing. My skin has always been pretty picky about the products I use. If I use something that is to chemically, then I get super-hyper-dry and break out like a 14 year old boy. If I use something that doesn’t have enough of a ‘cleaner’ in it (read, something to 86 the oil…the Alaskan Arctic Refuge has nothing on my face when it comes to oil deposits!) then my face starts to feel sludgy (is that a word? I’m going to say yes, because Safari says yes). It’s crazy - I am either WAY to dry or WAY to oily - but ya know, the Avasaire really seems to make my skin feel normal, not something I’m used to, but something I really like.
At any rate. Get it. Seriously. Go now, I can wait.
Now, on to the pendant. Heh. I don’t normally do the impulse buy thing, but last week, a good friend shared a link with me via Twitter and when I saw them, I knew I had to have…4. They’re real cute. Little scrabble letter tiles with a cute little funky piece of artwork on one side. Very fun. You should get one of those too. In fact, you know what? You should get them for all your friends and family - and if I am part of your friends and family, you should totally get me this one.
So, there you have it - the couple of things I wanted to talk about. So, off you go…
(Note the new categories - maybe I’ll make a habit of this!)
