Dad found the blog. Well, he didn’t really find it as much as he followed the link I sent him in an email. Of course, I had to bribe him with a promise of pictures - but hey! At least he’s here, right?
Today, we did some running around. As everyone is aware, I’m sure, Circuit City is shutting down a number of their stores and John wanted to go check out the goods and see what they had. Turns out, they didn’t have a lot, but we did end up getting a couple of things that we got a really good deal on. Like MicroSD Memory for my phone, half price, a few games, also half price and some HDMI cables, 75% off.
While we were out, I also wanted to check out the new HP Mini 1000 Netbook - I’d love to have one and I wanted to see if about taking one for a test drive. I wanted to see how it rendered pages while surfing, since the screen is so small. Turns out, the only place I was able to actually find one on display was a place that, for whatever stinkin reason, didn’t have WiFi. I didn’t even know places like that existed anymore. Turns out, they do and in the end, I didn’t get to give the Mini a test drive. A real bummer, because I’m really itchin to try one out.
None of that really matters, because my dad found the blog! I’m so happy!

I was worried that I’d never get this worked out - but it turns out, it wasn’t a background issue, it was a ‘wow, I need something totally different’ issue.
This is different, but I really like it.
I have a conference call in about half an hour with a potential client who is interested in me running a small scale site redesign project for him. I’ve worked with him before and he’s really good about letting me do what I’m there to do. It’s pretty exciting to have a former client come back and ask me to work with him again.
Anyway, I need to focus on that, plus finish working on the rest of the blog stuff here. I’ve been trying to download cformsII all night tonight - but Wordpress.org is all busted or something.
[ETA: I could live without the "Dog Vomit" and "Cat Flu" ads I am seeing though...seriously, dog vomit?]
Ugh, I Don’t Love This Either…
You’d think I’d have learned from the other night, but I didn’t. Here I sit, orange juice in hand and mind wondering - I am to wound up for midnight on a Monday. I think I’ve decided, rather than fiddling with the colors, backgrounds and header images, I’ll go for a total overhaul. Maybe change everything around a bit, what do you think?
If you’re wondering about the ads, well, my hosting is coming up for renewal in two months and with the economy the way it is…a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, ya know?
I’ll take another stab at this later in the week. I’m so bleh! Black and gray? Seriously Brandy - are you kidding?
